Every oil contains free fatty acid. As per FSSAI regulations we have to remove this free fatty acid from the crude oil to make refined vegetable oil. This is done by distillation of crude oil under a very high vacuum (1-2 mmHg). It is used in soap manufacturing, explosive industry and lubricant manufacturing. It can also be used in Bio Disel.
